by Rabbi Evan Moffic (Author)

We have so much information, and so little wisdom. Drawing from the teachings of the world's oldest religion, Rabbi Evan Moffic addresses the fundamental questions each of us faces. How can we live with fewer regrets? How can we find greater satisfaction and success as parents, siblings, children and friends? How can we find meaning and insight amidst endless distraction and information overload? In answering these questions, we find deep wisdom in the Old Testament. It is accessible, inviting and life-changing. It proclaims hope amidst despair and the personal relationship between God and every human being. This book opens it up for each of us.

Author Biography

Evan Moffic is a rabbi and writer. According to Dr. David Ellenson, President of the nation's largest Jewish seminary, Evan is one of the country's most truly charismatic and thoughtful young leaders. Since 2009, he served as the spiritual leader of Congregation Solel in suburban Chicago, having been named to that post at age 30. He has also appeared on the Fox News Channel as a religious commentator, most recently to discuss the gay marriage debate before the Supreme Court. Committed to interfaith relations and sharing Jewish wisdom with the world, Evan lectures and teaches at churches and interfaith institutions around the country. He also writes for the Huffington Post and Beliefnet.com, the largest multifaith website in the world, where his blog is among its most popular and widely shared. Originally from Houston, Texas, Evan spent his formative years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated from Stanford University in 2000 (Chelsea Clinton was a classmate), and after studying in Jerusalem and Cincinnati, he was ordained as a Rabbi in 2006. In 2012 he was named one of the 36 under 36 Jewish leaders to watch in Chicago. In addition to his regular published sermons and essays, Evan has written for the Chicago Tribune, the Forward, MichaelHyatt.Com, and several other newspapers and magazine.
