This book can be used by individuals for personal study and reflection or by small groups for study and discussion. It is suitable for teens and adults. This book explores the question, "What Did Jesus Say?" (WDJS?) in order to answer the question "What Would Jesus Do?" (WWJD?). It examines Jesus' sermons, parables, and teachings related to topics relevant to 21st Century challenges facing teens and adults.
Author Biography
Marilynn Baker has been an active volunteer in the United Methodist Church since the 1980s, including singing with the choir and praise teams, facilitating Bible studies, serving on committees, and being a certified lay servant. She began studying the Bible in 1999 with the Disciple Bible Study Series. In addition to her volunteer activities with the UMC, she and her husband support non-profit organizations to help the poor, including the Kairos Prison Ministry and ministries for the homeless. Dr. Baker is an advocate for the poor and is an ardent supporter of public education. Dr. Baker has a PhD in Organizational Leadership, and an MBA. She is a retired senior lecturer from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She continues to do research and training. She is a member of Toastmasters International, and is currently mentoring two new toastmasters.
