The songbook is intended for choir and soloist use and studying in musical studies institutions. The order of the songs is a suggestion for a concert program about a Jewish miasteczko, but selective use of songs is possible. The songbook includes compositions, as for a cappella performance, as for performance with fortepiano accompaniment, as for choir-only performance (two to five voice types), as for choir and soloist.
