The records include not only deeds in the format of leases and releases, but also bonds, assignments, and occasionally deeds of gift, quit claims, assignments of power of attorney, mortgages, and indentures of apprenticeship. Clues to familial and marital relationships can be found in many of these instruments. Each entry ends with a citation to the original page number.
